When I first arrive to Texas, I quickly discovered how different things were compare to Mexico.
And even now that I am in New York, I continue to shock myself every now and then.
Beware of the fast pace at which everything moves!
You'll often find your self in a hurry, whether while going to class, or trying to catch the subway.
It is then that you'll come to appreciate the fast pace at which every pedestrian walks through the city.
When not in a hurry, you'll often find people bumping into you and scolding you if you are walking too slow.
It may seem rude at first, but you have to understand everyone around has a place where they need to get to.
And is not easy to maneuver in a place with over 8 million people.
Overall, just avoid confrontation, specially yelling: "Hey! I'm walking here"
